Reviews and Ratings
I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was fully equipped with everything expected to make my stay comfortable. While upgrading to a junior suite was a bit costly at £175 per night, it was very comprehensively stocked.
My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The junior suite I stayed in was very comprehensively stocked but felt small and too hot at times. The service, while generally friendly, was a bit unresponsive to guests' needs. The location was convenient, with everything I wished to see within walking distance. The dining experience was enjoyable with nice options available. However, the weak shower in the room was disappointing for the price paid.
The hotel's location was great, near the historic cathedral with an upgrade offered. The rooms were small, hot, and noisy due to a fan and recycle bins below, but we managed to iron our clothes for a wedding. The staff were friendly, though somewhat unresponsive. Dining was good with a beautiful moat view, and the facilities were fine.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The location was fantastic, offering great views and a peaceful atmosphere, perfect for exploring the charming town of Hereford. However, the room was on the small side, located in a less nice building across the street without prior warning, which affected my privacy and comfort. The service was a mix of undertrained staff but with some excellent team members like Beth, who was very friendly. The dining experience was ultimately good, although the staff needed reminders. The facilities were decent for the price, but some aspects could be improved.
The hotel is a cozy gem in the city center, offering fantastic service and a delightful dining experience. The refurbished rooms were a pleasant surprise with thoughtful amenities; however, the size might not suit everyone's preference. The friendly staff made our stay special with their attentive service.
